About Izzy Colkitt

Izzy joined Kinnett & Cordes at the end of May 2025 as a legal assistant and has quickly become an invaluable member of the firm. In her role, she provides essential administrative support to the attorneys and Licensed Legal Paraprofessionals, assisting with document preparation, client communications, and case file management to help ensure the firm’s day-to-day operations run efficiently and smoothly.

A Denver native, Izzy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Colorado Boulder. During her time at CU Boulder, she interned with both the United States House of Representatives and the Colorado State Public Defender, gaining meaningful, hands-on experience in public service and the legal field. After graduating, Izzy spent time traveling before returning to Colorado to pursue her passion for law.

In her free time, Izzy enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, and spending time with friends and family, as well as with her beloved kitten, OJ.
